By accessing or using Hubli.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our platform.

Our Philosophy

Hubli.net was created with a simple belief: finding the right local businesser should be easier, more transparent and based on trust. At the same time, exceptional design businesses deserve a platform that represents their work professionally and fairly.

Our responsibility is to build a trusted platform where customers can make informed decisions while allowing businesses to present themselves honestly and professionally.

Every policy, editorial decision and product we build is guided by one principle: create long-term trust between customers and businesses.

Who We Are

Hubli.net is a curated discovery platform operated through Hubli.net by Vikas Solanke, based in Hubballi, Karnataka, India.

Our platform helps customers discover local businesses while providing businesses with tools and services to strengthen their professional online presence. Our services currently include public business listings, Official Profiles, homeowner enquiries, website design services, educational resources and business tools. Additional services may be introduced over time.

Eligibility

By accessing or using Hubli.net, you represent and warrant that:

• You are of legal age to enter into binding agreements under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
• You are legally permitted to access and use our platform.
• Any information you provide is accurate and truthful.
• You will use the platform in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you are acting on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to represent that business.

Editorial Independence

Editorial integrity is one of the core principles of Hubli.net. Businesses cannot purchase higher editorial rankings.

While we may offer commercial products and services, including Official Profiles, Featured Placements and other promotional opportunities, these services do not influence our independent editorial decisions regarding business eligibility, editorial content, platform policies, inclusion standards or verification decisions.

Featured placements and promotional products are clearly distinguished from our editorial processes. Our editorial team retains the sole discretion to determine how businesses are presented within the framework of our published policies.

Use of the Platform

You agree to use Hubli.net honestly, responsibly and in good faith. You must not use the platform to:

• Submit false or misleading information.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Submit enquiries on behalf of someone else without permission.
• Use enquiry forms to harass competitors or unrelated businesses.
• Attempt to manipulate rankings or editorial decisions.
• Upload content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
• Introduce malware, automated bots or malicious code.
• Scrape, copy or systematically extract data without written permission.
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the platform.
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Public Business Listings

Hubli.net is a curated discovery platform that publishes information about local businesses to help customers make informed decisions. Some business listings may be created using information that is publicly available from reliable sources.

We strive to ensure that publicly displayed information is accurate and useful. However, businesses remain responsible for notifying us of any changes to their information. A business appearing on Hubli.net does not imply endorsement, recommendation, certification or affiliation unless expressly stated.

Business owners may request corrections, updates or ownership review of their listing in accordance with our Editorial Policy. Requests to remove publicly listed business information are reviewed individually and are not automatically granted.

Official Profiles

Official Profiles are designed to give verified businesses greater control over their presence on Hubli.net. Official Profiles may include enhanced business information, portfolio images, videos, social media links, frequently asked questions and other content submitted directly by the business owner.

Submitting an Official Profile application does not guarantee verification, publication or continued inclusion on Hubli.net. Every application may be reviewed against our editorial standards, verification requirements and platform policies. Hubli.net reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend or revoke an Official Profile where necessary to protect the integrity of the platform.

Verification

Verification exists to improve trust between customers and businesses. As part of the verification process, we may request information reasonably necessary to confirm business ownership or authorised representation.

Verification requirements may evolve over time and may include manual verification, email verification, telephone verification, business documentation, secure third-party authentication or other verification methods introduced by Hubli.net.

Verification confirms that a business or representative has satisfied our verification requirements at the time of review. Verification should not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding the future conduct, quality, financial stability or legal compliance of any business.

Payments

Certain services offered by Hubli.net require payment. Current paid services may include Official Profile activation, Featured Placements, website design services and other services introduced in the future.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers. Completion of a payment does not automatically guarantee verification, publication, editorial approval or any specific commercial outcome.

Refunds

We believe our refund policy should be fair to both businesses and the editorial integrity of the platform. A refund may be considered where:

• A duplicate payment has been made.
• A payment has been processed due to a verified technical error.
• Hubli.net is unable to provide the purchased service due to reasons entirely within our control.

Refunds will generally not be available where editorial review has commenced, false or misleading information has been submitted, the applicant attempts to verify a business they are not authorised to represent, submitted content infringes intellectual property or applicable laws, the business falls outside the scope of Hubli.net, an application is rejected because it does not satisfy our Editorial Policy or verification requirements, or a user simply changes their mind after editorial work has begun.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws. Where exceptional circumstances exist, Hubli.net may, at its sole discretion, consider alternative resolutions where appropriate.

Website Design Services

Website audits are provided to help businesses understand opportunities to improve their online presence. Submitting a request for a website audit does not create any obligation for either party to enter into a website design agreement.

Where a business chooses to engage Hubli.net for website design or related professional services, additional service-specific agreements, timelines, deliverables and commercial terms may apply.

Homeowner Enquiries

Hubli.net facilitates communication between customers and listed businesses. While we make reasonable efforts to deliver enquiries to the intended recipient, we do not guarantee enquiry volume, lead quality, conversion rates, project awards, business growth, customer satisfaction or commercial outcomes.

Business success depends on numerous factors beyond our control, including market conditions, pricing, responsiveness, portfolio quality, reputation, website quality and many other variables.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content published on Hubli.net—including text, graphics, branding, design, software, editorial content, page layouts and original materials—is the property of Hubli.net or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Business owners retain ownership of the original content they submit to the platform. By submitting content to Hubli.net, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, distribute and use that content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the platform. You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Hubli.net is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. While we continuously strive to provide accurate information and reliable services, we do not warrant that every listing will always be accurate, the platform will operate without interruption, every enquiry will be delivered successfully, every business will meet user expectations, or the platform will always remain free from technical errors.

Users should exercise their own judgement before engaging any business listed on the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hubli.net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform.

Our total liability in relation to any paid service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that specific service, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Future Services

As Hubli.net grows, we may introduce additional products, services, business tools, integrations and platform features. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms of Use shall apply to such future services. Additional service-specific terms may also apply where appropriate.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of Hubli.net shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations or business practices. When material changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date at the beginning of this document.
