Inorbit mall hubli

The Inorbit mall is currently the biggest mall in Hubli measuring approximately 6,50,000 sq feet built-up area. It was called Akshay Sky Mall before the K Raheja Corp took it over at an acquisition cost of INR 400 crore.

As far as I remember, the mall construction was halted for a few years for unknown reasons.

The wait is finally over — Inorbit Mall Hubli officially opened its doors to the public on August 25, 2025, marking a new chapter in North Karnataka’s retail and lifestyle scene. The grand opening witnessed massive crowds from across Hubli-Dharwad and nearby towns, as thousands flocked to experience the city’s most awaited shopping destination.

Spread across 6.5 lakh sq. ft., the mall has completely transformed Gokul Road into a buzzing commercial hub. From premium fashion outlets to a wide range of eateries and entertainment zones, it truly caters to everyone — families, youngsters, professionals, and food lovers alike.

I’ll be honest — I couldn’t make it to the mall until November 3, 2025 (I know, that sucks). But when I finally did, it was absolutely worth the wait!

Burger King, Inorbit Mall, Gokul road, Hubli

My main motivation was simple — I wanted to try the Korean Spicy Burger from Burger King. No offence to McDonald’s McSpicy burger, but it often feels like it’s loaded with artificial flavours. The Korean spicy burger, on the other hand, hits the spot perfectly. It’s bold, juicy, and fiery — just the way we North Karnataka folks like it!

Korean Spicy Chicken Burger from Burger King, Inorbit Mall, Hubli – Tastes Better than it Looks!

I first tasted it at a Burger King outlet in Thailand, and since then, it’s been my all-time favourite. Whenever I travel to metro cities like Bangalore or Mumbai, I make sure I grab one. So, when I heard it was finally available here in Hubli, I couldn’t resist. Honestly, big thanks to the Raheja Group management for bringing Burger King (and that burger) to town!

During this first visit, I didn’t explore the other outlets much since I usually shop online (those discounts are unbeatable). But I must say — the variety of stores inside the mall is impressive. From Shoppers Stop and Lifestyle to Nykaa, Pantaloons, and PVR Cinemas, there’s something for everyone. I’ll probably shop here during the off-season sales when the crowds settle down a bit.

A Smart Touch at Inorbit Mall’s Basement Parking

A Smart Touch at Inorbit Mall’s Basement Parking
Pro tip: Don’t forget where you parked — this place is huge enough to qualify for its own postal code.

One thing that really stood out in Inorbit Mall’s basement parking was the clever pillar markings — like B2 C13, B2 C14, and so on. Each pillar is clearly labeled with the floor and block number, making it easy for visitors to remember where they parked.

It’s a small but thoughtful feature that saves time and confusion.
Just snap a quick photo of your block number before heading to the mall — and you’ll never have to wander around looking for your car again.

Simple idea, smart execution. Good job, Inorbit!

Timezone Hubli – Where Adults Pretend to Take Kids Out

Timezone, Gaming zone, 4th floor, inorbit mall, Hubli

Let’s be honest — Timezone on Level 4 is the real deal! Bowling lanes, virtual reality rides, racing simulators, and arcade machines that can drain both your wallet and your sense of time — it’s all here.

The best part? You don’t even need an excuse like “I’m taking my nephew out.” Everyone’s just out here reliving their childhood — from serious bowlers trying to score a strike to grown-ups fighting for that last plush toy.

I couldn’t help but smile seeing how this place buzzed with energy. Whether you’re out with friends or just need to escape the weekday blues, Timezone at Inorbit Mall Hubli is your go-to spot for a quick hit of world-class fun — minus the airport ticket!

Felt Like a Mix of Garuda + Forum Mall (Bangalore Vibes!)

If you’ve ever been to Garuda Mall or Forum Mall in Bangalore, you’ll instantly feel those same vibes here. Standing at the food court on the top floor, I couldn’t help but experience a sense of déjà vu. The excitement in the air — families taking selfies, kids running around with ice creams, friends hanging out — it reminded me so much of my first visit to Forum Mall back in 2005.

It’s not about the size or design — it’s about the energy. That same lively, curious, and happy crowd, eager to explore something new. And now, we finally have that same vibe right here in Hubli.

Waste Management at Inorbit Mall Hubli

Trash bins at Inorbit mall, Hubli
Dual-bin system for Dry & Wet waste near the lift — let’s hope it stays stainless and gutka-free!

One thing that really caught my attention during my visit was the cleanliness and waste management system at the Inorbit Mall. I noticed quite a few trash bins placed thoughtfully across every floor — something you rarely see in most of Hubli’s so-called “malls” (which are actually just commercial complexes).

Each bin is neatly labeled for Dry Waste and Wet Waste, like the one I found on the 4th floor near the lift. It’s a small detail, but a big step forward in terms of maintaining hygiene and promoting responsible waste segregation — something Hubli has long needed.

Now, let’s be honest. The moment I saw that bin, my first thought (with no offence to anyone) was — “How long before someone decides it’s the perfect place to spit gutka or paan?”

Gutka graffiti

We’ve all seen it happen before in places like Urban Oasis and Laxmi Mall. People just walk by and, without a second thought, treat clean corners and bins like their personal spittoons. It’s sad, but true.

Hopefully, this time it’ll be different. Inorbit Mall has set a new benchmark for infrastructure and cleanliness in Hubli, and it’s up to us — the visitors — to maintain it. If everyone takes a little responsibility, uses these bins properly, and avoids the “gutka graffiti” we’ve seen elsewhere, this mall can genuinely stay as beautiful and clean as it looks today.

So yes, full marks to Inorbit Mall’s management for implementing a clean, modern, and eco-conscious waste disposal system — now it’s our turn to respect it.
