The Body Shop Opens Doors in Hubli: A Fresh Chapter for Ethical Beauty

The Body Shop Hubli

Big news for beauty lovers in HubliThe Body Shop, the British ethical beauty brand loved worldwide, has finally made its way to our city. The brand launched its reimagined Workshop Store at Inorbit Mall, Hubli, bringing not just skincare and fragrances but also a whole new kind of shopping experience.

This isn’t just another store opening — The Body Shop has designed this outlet to be interactive, hands-on, and reflective of its global philosophy: sustainability, community empowerment, and activism. Shoppers here can explore everything from body butters and scrubs to shampoos, fragrances, and special edition collections, all while learning about recycling programs and the brand’s Community Fair Trade initiatives.

A Store That Celebrates Hubli’s Craft Heritage

What makes the Hubli store extra special is its custom mural, inspired by the city’s famous weaving tradition. The artwork is a tribute to the women artisans who keep Hubli’s saree heritage alive. It’s a beautiful way of connecting the brand’s values with our city’s cultural identity.

A Festive Surprise: The Marigold Collection

Timed with the festive season, The Body Shop has also launched its Marigold range from the India Edit collection. The line includes:

  • Shower Gel
  • Body Lotion
  • Body Mist

The fragrance is described as warm, sweet, and earthy, perfect for the upcoming celebrations.

What The Body Shop Says

Vishal Chaturvedi, VP of The Body Shop Asia South, shared his thoughts at the launch:

“We are delighted to bring our reimagined Workshop Store to Hubli. The city’s rich heritage of craftsmanship resonates deeply with The Body Shop’s purpose-driven philosophy. With the festive season approaching, our new Marigold range will be available, allowing customers to celebrate while supporting local communities. This store not only honors the artistry of Hubli’s women weavers but also reflects our commitment to purpose-driven beauty.”

A Local Shopper’s Take

As someone who has been a loyal Body Shop customer for nearly a decade, this opening feels like a win for Hubli. Back in the day, I used to stock up from their Garuda Mall store in Bangalore whenever I visited. After Covid, like many others, I had to rely on Amazon and Nykaa to get my favourites delivered.

But having a local store right here in Hubli makes all the difference. There’s something special about walking into the store, testing new fragrances, and trying products in person before buying them.

And yes, I’m personally thrilled! One of my all-time favourites from The Body Shop is the Satsuma Orange Body Polish Scrub. I jokingly call it my “Saasuma Scrub” — not because of my mother-in-law, but because it’s got that sharp, zesty kick that instantly wakes you up and leaves you feeling supercharged after a shower.

My favourite the body shop products

Another product I swear by is the Almond Milk Body Yogurt. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and sinks right into the skin. I usually apply it right after a shower — it keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

If I had one tiny wish, it would be for the fragrance to be a touch milder, but overall, it works perfectly as a daily moisturizer and gives that extra hydro-boost.

For a city that loves its traditions yet embraces the new, The Body Shop’s arrival feels like the best of both worlds — a global brand with a touch of Hubli woven right in.

Next time you’re strolling through Inorbit Mall, don’t be surprised if you catch the scent of marigold, satsuma, or almond milk in the air — that’s Hubli’s newest beauty corner making its presence felt.
